A Forward

This legacy is using Pinstar's rules, and is technically my second attempt at a legacy. My first legacy, the Sharpe Legacy never got far in blog format once a computer crash ruined the three generations I had ready to share weekly.

It took me quite a bit of time to get back in the swing of things as I finished out my Masters degree and dealt with some big life changes. But, I'm back to Simming and sharing! This blog is updated weekly on Sundays. I can't wait to (finally!) finish out my first legacy challenge, mainly so that I can start a new one!

F.A.Q.

Q: I'd like to link to your Legacy? Can I do that?
A: Of course! Link love is great. You can even leave a link to your blog and I will link back to it as well. And I may even Feedreader it.

Q: Wait, you're in Twinbrook? I thought there weren't any Legacy Lots? What did you do?
A: Yes, I'm in Twinbrook. I just like the town best. And no, there are not any free Legacy Lots. While I've read of some people evicting people in the rich district, I chose the only free lot in the rich district--16 Puddlewick Drive. I then used the Family Funds cheat to bring my simoleons down to $1,300.

Q: Family Funds Cheat? How do I do that?
A: To activate the family funds cheat to bring your funds down to the Legacy limit, you will press the following buttons prior to each command: CTRL+Shift+C
First command: testingcheatsenabled true
Second command: familyfunds familyname 1,300

Q: What program do you use for the family tree?
A: I use the MyHeritage Family Tree Builder that you can download and use for free. You can then export a family tree into many different types of charts as either a PDF or .JPG format to post on your blog. I think it's absolutely brilliant. You can also create a mini-website where the family tree is more interactive if you're so interested. However, I have yet to figure out how to make that family tree public without having to invite people with email addresses.
